PUBG Mobile Has a New K/D System: here is a walk-through
PUBG Mobile dropped a massive update last week and eventually rolled out Season 13. Now, apart from the big and expected changes, the new version also brings an important update that you may have missed.
The K / D or kill to death ratio has also been changed. With the introduction of Season 13, game makers have developed a new method of measuring the K / D ratio. The reason for this change is to bring a proper balance to the game and take away some of the players' advantages. Previously, players could push their K / D by simply surviving and camping as K / D was calculated by taking into account the ratio of the total number of kills and the total number of deaths. Essentially, the formula was:
K / D Ratio = (Total Kills)/(Total Deaths)
This way, you might raise your K / D ratio even though you didn't get a ton of kills, only by surviving the entire match. And, to be honest, survival was part of the Royal Battle Games. However, with the current Season 13, changes have changed with the introduction of a modern K / D method. The K / D ratio measurement is now rendered on the basis of the total number of kills in-games. For eg, your K / D ratio is 6 and you win a match with 4 kills. In this scenario, the K / D ratio would drop as you get fewer kills compared to the existing K / D ratio. You need to have 6 kills or more to maintain a ratio of 6. The formula now looks like this:
K/D Ratio = (Total Kills) / (Total Matches Played)
