Oppo Find X2 Series To launch in India, company anounces

The Oppo Find X2 may soon be heading to India, according to Oppo teasers. Over the past few months, we've had quite a few big flagship releases over India. The first was the OnePlus 8 series, followed by the Mi 10 series from Xiaomi, and now the Find X2 series. The firm has put up a teaser on Twitter that says it's "coming soon" and has a teaser page on Amazon India as well. Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro were released at the beginning of March of this year, both flagship models powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC with 120Hz displays and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. It's also uncertain if Oppo will be releasing both versions in India or only the Find X2 Pro.

We've heard rumors since March that the Find X2 series is making its way to India in Oppo's second wave of launches. Now, this is confirmed by a tweet from the official Twitter handle of Oppo India. The tweet references the Find X2 'Class' and it's likely that both phones could be introduced. Oppo also has a preview page on Amazon India for Find X2, which talks about some of the main features. Here it applies to the volume of RAM and capacity being 12 GB and 512 GB respectively, which means that it is the Find X2 Pro.

We assume that Oppo will be willing to do more about pricing given what it costs in other nations. Find X2 Pro is priced at EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,00,100) for the 12 GB + 512 GB version, while Find X2 is priced at EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 83,400) for the 12 GB + 256 GB model. This places it well above the Xiaomi Mi 10 5 G, which was just released in India at the starting price of Rs. 49,999. Oppo could theoretically reduce the price by launching reduced RAM and storage options for both versions. If India 's pricing is anything close to its international pricing, then the Oppo Find X2 series will compete against premium flagships such as the iPhone 11 Pro series and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.
