Nokia 6.3 Loaded with Quad Rear Cameras, Qualcomm SoC to Launch in Q3 2020

Nokia 6.3 is claimed to be the next mid-range smartphone approved by the Nokia company, HMD Global. According to the article, the phone will replace the Nokia 6.2 that was released last year and will place right above Nokia 5.3, which was introduced in March of this year. It was also reported that the alleged Nokia 6.3 will carry Zeiss-branded quad rear camera setup along with a Qualcomm processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It is expected that the phone will come out in the third quarter of 2020. At the moment, HMD Global has not confirmed the development, so it is recommended that the information be taken with a pinch of salt.

As reported by NokiaPowerUser, Nokia 6.3 is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670/675 SoC. The phone is also tipped to pack Zeiss-branded rear cameras, but the details of the camera remain unclear. The source report also suggested that the phone would likely pack a 16-megapixel front camera. It was also stated that the base 3 GB RAM + 64 GB version of Nokia 6.3 would cost EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 20,400).

As the name indicates, Nokia 6.3 will replace Nokia 6.2 which was released in September 2019. To note, Nokia 6.2 is operated by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with up to 3 GB of RAM. So far as the camera is concerned, Nokia 6.2 comes with triple rear cameras and an 8-megapixel camera on the front side. The phone was released in India in October 2019 for Rs. 15,999 (4 GB + 64 GB capacity version).

The report also added that Nokia 6.3 will be located right above Nokia 5.3, which was launched in March of this year. Nokia 5.3 comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13 megapixel main camera. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. Nokia 5.3 also has an 8 megapixel front camera.

In the meantime, a connection to the latest platform has appeared from the beta code of the recent TVOS update. Apple is also expected to announce a new TVOS update to WWDC 2020 next month that will provide several additional functionality for the forthcoming Apple TV platform.
